In 2003 we were in the Tall Ships Race in Russell aboard the sixty-foot Colvin-designed steel schooner "Siome." Alan and Marta built the boat themselves in Florida, and sailed it with their family around Cape Horn to New Zealand. For this fun race they had a huge crew. We also saw "Siome" in New Caledonia (2000) and Vanuatu (2004).
